Ryan Benson Smith is a Theatre Manager and Artist located in New York City. They recently received their Bachelor of Arts at their hometown college, SUNY Oswego with a concentration in Acting and Directing. Alongside traditional theatre production, Ryan specializes in producing vaudeville style events including cabarets, drag shows, and festivals. At SUNY Oswego they were been able to work on mainstage productions as an actor, stage manager, electrician and dramaturg.

Throughout their time in school, they served as the Parliamentarian, Vice President and President of Blackfriars Theatre Organization and Historian, Treasurer and Understudy Coordinator of the Mu Iota Cast of the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society.

After graduation, they were the Assistant Company Stage Manager at Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, in Nantucket, Massachusetts, serving as Stage Manager and Lighting Designer for Seussical: The Musical and as Assistant Stage Manager for California Suite and Grease. Prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, they are the Experiences Coordinator at RWS Entertainment Group in Long Island City, Queens and Assistant Stage Manager for GIRLHOOD.
